Cannabis-Infused Chocolates

Stove top recipe | 30 min to make

Makes approximately 40 chocolates.

Ingredients

  • One and a half cups of Chocolate (milk or dark)
  • Half a cup of cannabis infused coconut oil or butter
  • 1 cup of puffed rice cereal
  • ¼ cup toffee bits
  • ¼ cup sprinkles

Items you will need

  • Silicone molds
  • Silicone spatula
  • Double boiler (You can use a medium pot of boiling water with a large silver metal mixing bowl over top. Do not let the boiling water get into the silver mixing bowl and be careful for steam)
  • Measuring cups
  • A large spoon

You can use cannabis infused coconut oil or butter in this recipe.

The potency of these treats will depend on the strength of the infused oil you use. You can lower the dose of the treats by reducing the amount of oil added.

Measure out your ingredients before you begin and set aside your silicone molds.

Remember to always start slowly when consuming cannabis edibles, wait an hour or two to see how it affects you and go from there.

Method

Boil water in the lower section of the double boiler. Once the water is boiling, lower the heat to medium and place the top portion of the double boiler on. Add the chocolate to top portion of the double boiler, stirring until melted.

Turn the stove to low.  Add the cannabis infused oil into the melted chocolate. Keep stirring until all the oil is melted and blended into the chocolate.

Turn off the heat and stir the puffed rice into the melted chocolate.

Using a large spoon, scoop up the mixture and fill the silicone molds.

Add the score bits and sprinkles evenly to the top of the chocolates. This step is optional.

Place the silicone molds in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours.

Remove the chocolates from the silicone molds and enjoy!

Store the cannabis chocolates in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer for longer.
