Sensi Seeds Reviews 2021

There is no other seed bank in the world that has been coveted with more awards than Sensi Seeds. From the Highlife Cup to the Cannabis Cup, Sensi has achieved unrivalled legendary status in the seed bank world, and there are thousands of excellent Sensi seeds reviews.

In the early 1970s, Sensi, Ben, opened a clothes shop in the Dutch city of Rotterdam where he sold homemade clothing. A few years earlier, at the age of seventeen, he smoked his first joint. But it wasn’t until he began making regular trips to Turkey, Afghanistan and Pakistan to purchase textiles that he became aware of the plant’s versatility. He learned about hemp fibre’s suitability as, among other things, a textile and was given cannabis and cannabis seeds by local farmers. Ben discovered that the cannabis plant had so much to offer despite being prohibited and vilified in all corners of the world.

It became one of his passions to collect cannabis seeds from Central and South-East Asia and the Asian subcontinent. Back home in the Netherlands, he started to cultivate these seeds to learn more about the growth process of this extraordinary plant.

Sensi Seeds search for cannabis genetics has never ceased in the last 30 years. Their dedication towards genetic preservation has also never diminished. To this day, Sensi is true to their roots and are now, more than ever, aware that the future of cannabis genetic research lies in its past, in the genetics that started it all.

Sensi genetics offer not only the high yield and range of effects people search for; they actually represent a part of Cannabis’ history.

With all of that being said, trying to pick our 3 favourite Sensi Seeds available at Seedsman was almost impossible! Here are our top 3:

Northern Lights Feminised – Sensi Seeds Reviews

As far back as the Eighties, Northern Lights was setting the standard by which other Indicas are still judged and she remains one of the most trusted names and sought-after varieties in modern cannabis culture.

For many years, Northern Lights dominated the various harvest festivals. Winning cup after cup, leading to more than one request that she be retired from competition. So other strains had a shot at the title! With this new Northern Lights feminised, the legendary Afghani Indica makes her debut as a feminized strain! Like most of her family, Northern Lights Feminised is usually grown indoors, though this strain can also perform very well outdoors in a warm, sunny Mediterranean climate.

Northern Lights Feminised continues the traditions of her classic ancestors; she produces fast, solid harvests with surprisingly little growing-odour. Nevertheless, her buds are sweetly fragrant and, due to their thick coating of THC-rich trichomes, remarkably powerful!

Super Skunk – Sensi Seeds Reviews

Super Skunk is a souped-up version of Skunk #1 and was created by crossing it with an Afghani strain. It is a super F1 strain with increased vigour and potency. It was released in 1990 and won the High Times Cannabis Cup for indicas in its first year!

Super Skunk is mainly a plant for indoor or greenhouse cultivation except for those living and growing in warm regions such as those with a Mediterranean climate. It is 80% indica and undergoes only a modest amount of stretch once flowering has begun. It is a fast-flowering plant that is ready to crop after 45 – 50 days of florescence.

Yields are heavy and of commercial quantities with plenty of fat, sticky buds which are nicely aromatic.

The aroma and flavour are a little more restrained than Skunk #1. Although very sweet, this strain has a really potent effect with a good head-high. As well as a nice, potent, relaxing, heavy sensation, especially behind the eyes.

Hindu Kush – Sensi Seeds Reviews

Hindu Kush is a pure indica marijuana strain originating in the Hindu Kush mountains of Afghanistan, Pakistan and northern India in the Western Himalayas. This strain has undergone many generations of inbreeding and selection to produce a cannabis plant that performs consistently indoors.

Hindu Kush is a fast-flowering indoor strain that finishes flowering in just 45 – 50 days. These plants are typically indica with their dark green, broad leaves. Plants are so uniform that when grown from seed, they look like clones. Yields are on average, but the quality is very high to compensate.

The perfume of Hindu Kush is rather like sandalwood with notes of sweet mountain-grown charas. Its potency is good, especially so considering that this is a pure, inbred cannabis strain. The effect is a mellow body-stone with a calm, meditative high that is quite spiritual. This contrasts with the physically debilitating indica hybrid strains that have become so popular in recent years.
